Maine Motor Vehicle Dealer Surety Bond Changes
Effective October 4, 2017 there will be changes for Maine Motor Vehicle Dealer Surety Bonds. Bond amounts formerly $5.000 to $25,000 are increasing. The new range will be between $25,000 to $100,000.
This may cause the cost of the bond to increase for you client. You client may also no longer qualify for the surety bond in a standard market. CCI Surety handles accounts that are declined because of low credit score or the size of the bond.
